Brides is a family business, established in 1976 by the Jory family, with a wide reputation in Hampshire, the South of England - and beyond - for quality and service.

We are unrelated to any other company of a similar name. At Brides of Southampton we supply wedding dresses for hire or sale, bridesmaids dresses for all ages, Prom gowns, handmade veils and tiaras, wedding shoes and bridal lingerie along with experienced alterations staff on the premises.

Our staff, many of who have been with us since our inception 35 years ago, have gained much experience in recognising the needs of the Bride and her bridal party.

Our well stocked showroom has an exciting and regularly updated collection of dresses to suit everybody, drawn from the top designers in Europe, America and Australia. We cater for all sizes; from size 6 to 36. Our wide range is for hire or purchase. No effort is spared in giving a very personal attention to ensure that every Bride and Bridesmaid is perfectly fitted for the occasion in the dress of their dreams at a price they can afford.
